Rivals250 LB sets official to Alabama

Four-star New Jersey linebacker Quanzell Lambert has planned out his first official visit of the fall and he'll be heading down south for it.
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker from Sicklerville (N.J.) Timber Creek will be in Tuscaloosa for Alabama's season opener against Kent State on September 3.

That trip is an official visit. It's the first official visit that Lambert has ironed out the details on.
"They were pretty pumped up when I told them," Lambert said of the Tide's coaches. "I definitely like the coaches down there. I like the program and everything they do."
Lambert said he will likely take all five officials before he makes his decision.
"Also, I did decide to take officials to Iowa and Northwestern," Lambert continued.
He hasn't set the dates for those trips yet, though.
That leaves two remaining official visits that Lambert hasn't thought through yet. There are a number of schools in contention for those final two spots.
Lambert cautioned not to assume that those three schools are at the top of his list ahead of everyone else.
Rated a four-star prospect, Lambert holds down the No. 117 spot on the Rivals250 and is the No. 2 inside linebacker in the nation.
