IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"The home feeling the gave me and they way that I fit in with everybody, including the students and the fans, is what tipped the scales in favor of N.C. State," Wilson said. "I feel like the atmosphere compares to some of the best out there.

"Coach Huxtable and coach Doeren are really great people," he said. "They are more than coaches to me. All the other coaches are great people and they have the best interests at heart for me but I felt like I connected the best with coach Hux and coach Doeren.

"I'm done with visits and everything," said Wilson. "It's been a long recruitment."

RIVALS' REACTION

Wilson will fit right into what N.C. State likes to do on defense. The Wolfpack front seven is very active and has become one of the best units in college football. Wilson, who is recovering from a torn ACL, is a very athletic and mobile prospect with a great nose for the ball. He is hoping to back to full strength this coming summer and wants to be able to contribute in his freshman year.
