Rivals250 linebacker Chris McCain is nearing a decision. That is just a bit of the big news for the 6-foot-6, 203-pounder at this time.
"I switched schools," he said. "I'm not at Northern Guilford anymore. I went over to Central Carolina Sports Academy. They are a new school and it's great.
"There's a lot of competition and we have a lot of athletes. It's real different. I've learned a lot more stuff than before. These coaches have coached in the pros and played in the pros. I've learned technique and skills."

Before making the move, McCain participated in the FBU Top Gun camp earlier this month.
"It was real hot and humid," he said. "Other than that, it was good. I learned techniques that I never did at Northern. It was very different. It was a wonderful experience."
On the recruiting front, McCain confirmed that he is down to three schools and could be very close to a decision.
"I'm really close to committing," he said. "I have the same top three, Maryland, Oregon and California. For Oregon and California it's the atmosphere, coaches and players. I really like Coach Pellum at Oregon and Coach Lupoi at California along with Coach Hull at Maryland. I like the coaches and players at Maryland along with the facilities."
How soon could a decision come?
"It could be real soon. It could pop this week."
