Rivals250 LB has three officials in mind

Though no dates have been set Abner Logan knows of three official visits he will be taking this fall.
Logan, ranked the No. 20 outside linebacker in the nation and a four-star prospect by Rivals.com, is one of the top available members of the Class of 2012 from the Northeast.

"I know I'm definitely going to take officials to Northwestern, Maryland and NC State," Logan said on Monday. "The other two (visits) are up for grabs right now."
Logan said one shouldn't read too much into that. While he has scheduled official visits to those schools he's still keeping other schools in mind.
"I've been to Northwestern and Maryland," he continued. "I haven't been to NC State.
"I'm still looking at UConn, BC, Florida Atlantic and FIU for those last two visits."
Abner noted that Boston College does not have an advantage because of their status as the in-state school.
The 6-foot-1, 212-pound linebacker is very interested in Northwestern and Maryland. After all, he's already been to those schools and he's planning return trips in the fall.
"With Northwestern I love the location and also the balance with their academic background," he said. "They're one of the best schools in the country. Plus, it's Big Ten football so that's the highest level of football, or at least one of them. I could play there, so the combination is hard to beat.
"Same with Maryland. It's a great academic school. They both have what I want academically and with the football."
Logan admits he doesn't know as much about NC State.
Don't expect a decision from the four-star prospect anytime soon. Logan thinks his officials will probably take place close to the winter.
