Rivals250 LB Grant lands major out-of-state offers

Offers are piling up for one of the top prospects in the nation, linebacker Curtis Grant. The Rivals250 prospect pulled three more major out-of-conference offers this week including arguably one of the top schools in the country.
"I got offers from Southern Cal, Nebraska and Tennessee," he said. "Tennessee was a couple days ago, USC on Wednesday and Nebraska was yesterday.

"I'm excited to get all of them. The Southern Cal offer surprised me since it's kind of far out."
Grant is coming off a visit to Virginia this past weekend and plans to roll through more schools over the next month.
"I'm going to North Carolina on the 27th. Over spring break the first week of April, I'm either going to Clemson, Alabama or Florida. I also may be going to Virginia Tech's spring game in late April, but I'm not sure yet."
With recruiting continuing to pile on, does Grant favor anybody?
"I don't have any favorites," he said. "Anytime I think about narrowing it down somebody new comes in the picture. I'm not high on anybody anymore.
"I'm just looking for playing time and a great coaching staff. You know how people will treat you during recruiting, but I want to see how you feel when you get there and if you get that certain vibe. With playing time, a couple schools told me I'd have a shot to play earlier possibly as a freshman including Alabama and Virginia."
In addition, Grant confirmed his desire to stay on the East Coast still.
