Rivals250 LB adding offers, but UNC stands out

With a solid junior season in the books, Class of 2015 Rivals250 and Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton linebacker Quarte Sapp is shifting his focus back to recruiting. Several new schools have come calling since the dead period ended, with Arkansas and Michigan State the most recent to offer.
"I don't know much about Arkansas yet," Sapp said. "Coach Johnson came out to see me play during the season and we kept talking since then. He was supposed to come see me at school but it was canceled because of the snow then him and Coach Bielema called let me know I had an offer."

As far as the Spartans, Sapp said he's still learning about the program as well.
"To be honest I don't know a whole lot," he said. "I watched a couple of games and I like how their defense played, especially in the Rose Bowl against Stanford."
When it comes to the most regular contact, Sapp said North Carolina continues to stay in touch.
"Their head coach came out to see me and then Coach Vic Koenning came to see me and we talked a while," Sapp said.
With junior days already started Sapp said he's hoping to plan a number of trips coming up with his most trusted advisor likely joining him on visits.
"I sat down with my mom and we looked at the calendar and we're figuring it out," Sapp said. "She will be important and how she feels will go a long way because she looks out for me and can guide me through my decision."
