Rivals250 junior DE has four offers

Rivals250 to watch 2010 defensive end Gabe King already has pulled in four offers. Who has offered the 6-foot-5, 245-pounder out of Greensboro (N.C.) Page and does he have any leaders?
"I've got scholarships from Georgia, NC State, North Carolina and Duke," he said. "I got them during the beginning of the season. I got my first offer from Duke, second from NC State and then third UNC. They all were a week apart, Georgia offered me on the last week. I haven't been able to get my film out to a lot of schools, these were the ones who were able to see it."
What does he think of the scholarships?
"I love North Carolina, that one stands out to me," he said. "I haven't had a chance to visit Georgia yet. I've been to NC State and Duke. I like Duke and NC State was good too.
"I really like UNC right now. I spent a day at North Carolina and I got to see how the coaches are there and the relationship they have with some of the players. I kind of like that family-oriented type of coaching. Plus, they have the No. 1 defensive line coach in the nation. That should help me to move on to the next level."
The Tar Heels may have an early advantage, but King is looking at everything and discussed what he wants in a college.
"I haven't had a chance to look into it too much, but I know I want certain qualities that fit me as a person," he said. "I want a college that I have a great opportunity to graduate with a degree in case I can't make it to the next level.
"I've thought about law. I think I'm good at arguing. I've also thought about business management or computer technology. I don't think I want to go too far off. My brother went to Kent State and my family never got to see him play."
King plans to take at least one more visit this fall.
"I know I'm supposed to go on a visit to Maryland this Saturday."
Meanwhile, what stands out about King as a prospect?
"My quickness, hand speed and explosiveness off the ball are good. I think I have two or three moves I really like to use," he said. "I still want to improve on my strength. I want to get my bench and squat up. I'd like to lower my 40 time and come off the ball even faster."
