Rivals250 FB enjoys Tennessee official
Four-star fullback Brandon Minor out of Richmond (Va.) Varina took his first official visit of the season to Knoxville last weekend. The 6-foot-0, 213-pounder with 4.75-second speed enjoyed his trip to Tennessee despite their loss to Georgia.

"I liked my visit, it was really good. I liked the game, atmosphere, campus and the educational stuff too," he said. "I got up there on Saturday morning and ate breakfast and then went to the facilities to watch tapes and talk with players and coaches. Then I went to the game. On Sunday, I went back on campus and went over the educational stuff and did all that which was pretty cool."
The Rivals250 prospect particularly enjoyed the Volunteers game.
"They have some dedicated fans there and the stadium gets just wild, I couldn't even hear myself talk," he said. "In the game I like the plays they run and the fact that they played hard. They just weren't executing it because of a lot of penalties. I especially like that they give the running back a lot of opportunity to make plays and give him the ball a lot."
On the visit, Minor was able to talk to all of the coaches.
"They were all great, but I especially liked the running back coach because he's a good motivator," he said. "He's got a lot of attitude and is hyped all the time. I don't know why I like about him, but I like it. He told me the type of position I'd go in there and I talked about how I could see myself there."
Overall, the No. 1 fullback in the country rated his trip to Tennessee an 8.
