Rivals250 DE Williams sets three officials

With only three open weekends and four schools remaining on his list, McDonough (Ga.) Eagle's Landing Christian defensive Andrew Williams is going to get creative if he's going to fit official visits in to the schools he's still considering.
"I'm down to Ole Miss, Clemson, Auburn and South Carolina," Williams said. "I have three officials set. The only one I don't have set is South Carolina, which I'm going to try to take during the week."

Williams said he's visiting Auburn on Jan. 17, followed by Ole Miss on Jan. 24 and Clemson on Jan. 31. Despite the Tigers getting the final trip, he said there's no significance to the other.
"There isn't really anything behind it," Williams said. "I was going to take Clemson first but Auburn asked me first and they wanted that weekend so I moved Clemson to the 31."
After a solid senior season and with quality defensive linemen at a premium in the 2014 class, Williams has seen interest skyrocket over the past few months. He said he's flattered that so many teams continue to push for his services.
"It's really cool," he said. "It's really a blessing to see all these schools come at me like that. I'm really enjoying the process."
Williams spent the better part of the summer and Saturday's in the fall taking visits, so what is he looking to see on his officials that could help him make a final decision?
"I'm really just looking to see how my family reacts and how they feel about it," he said. "Education and all that has been covered on other strips. I really want to break down all the football, too, and then just see how my family feels about everything."
Williams said he plans on waiting until signing day to announce a final decision.
