Rivals250 DB says Wisconsin pushing hardest

Rivals250 and Tucker (Ga.) defensive back Duke Shelley added a pair of Big Five offers to his resume this week after Wake Forest and Utah stopped by campus. The two schools were just a few of several that are expected to check in on Shelley during the spring evaluation period.
"Oregon said they're going to come by and we've been talking a lot," The 5-foot-9, 155-pound Shelley said. "Ohio State has told me they're going to offer and lots of others are going to come watch us practice."

Shelley said he doesn't know much about the Utes or the Demon Deacons and hadn't been in contact prior to receiving the offers. However, he did say one school has really stepped up their pursuit.
"I'd say that Wisconsin is recruiting me the hardest right now," Shelley said. "I talk to the coaches up there a lot and they told me that I'm No. 1 on their board right now at corner."
Shelley said the Badgers coaches like both his speed and his versatility.
"They think I can come in there and make a difference," he said. "They told me I'll have a chance to return kicks, too, and that's something I like to do."
Despite being from the Southeast, Shelley said he's not afraid to travel for school if he finds the right fit.
"I'm not worried about it being far or the cold or anything like that," Shelley said of the Badgers. "If I feel comfortable and it's the right place for me then it's not going to be an issue."
Shelley said he's planning a busy summer schedule, with visits to Ohio State, Florida State, Clemson and several others on the agenda.
