Rivals250 DB Reavis says two stand out

Rivals250 defensive back C.J. Reavis has had a very active recruitment and has previously said that he will commit before the season starts. Last weekend, the Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale star showed off his skills at the Richmond Rivals Camp Series Presented by Under Armour.
"It was fun," said the 6-foot-1, 200-pound Reavis. "I liked it and I thought I did pretty well."

As far as his recruitment, things have slowed down a little bit and it seems as though Reavis is starting to narrow his focus.
"I got an offer from Cincinnati recently," he said. "I got a letter in the mail from them telling me to call them and they offered me.
"I'm hearing from Kentucky a lot right now," Reavis explained. "I think they'll be offering some time this week. I'm hearing from Clemson, Virginia Tech, Virginia, North Carolina and Oklahoma. Virginia Tech and Tennessee are standing out right now.
"Even though it was pretty far away, I felt at home at Tennessee," he said. "The whole coaching staff seemed like really cool guys. Coach Jones is a really cool, down to earth guy.
"It's the family environment at Virginia Tech that I like," said Reavis. "It's a really nice place to be."
Now that he has identified two schools that stand out, how soon will Reavis commit?
"At any time, whenever I feel like I'm ready," he said. "When I get tired of hearing from other schools and when I feel comfortable with my choice. I want to commit on August 3 but I feel like I'll be able to make a choice earlier than that. I want to feel like the school wants me. I don't want it to be me just wanting them."
Reavis will be visiting Virginia Tech this weekend.
