Rivals250 CB Micah Strickland makes the call for TCU

The TCU Horned Frogs have been on quite a run in the month of June and they are closing it out in with a splash.

On Friday afternoon, TCU landed the commitment of 2025 Brownsboro (Texas) four-star cornerback Micah Strickland.

Strickland ranks as the No. 211 overall prospect in the Rivals250 as well as the No. 20 cornerback and No. 34 prospect in the state of Texas. He chose TCU primarily over Houston and Texas Tech.

Strickland took three official visits, making trips to Texas Tech, Houston, and TCU, in that order. On all three visits, those programs felt strongly about their chances, but getting the final visit was a massive piece of the puzzle for his recruitment.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound cornerback joins a TCU class that now has 20 total commitments. He is the third defensive back, joining three-star safety Julius Simms and three-star cornerback Cameron Jamerson.

With the addition, the 2025 TCU recruiting class now ranks inside the top 10 of the Recruiting Team Rankings. They now hold five four-star prospects, one at each of the premier positions: Quarterback, offensive tackle, defensive end, wide receiver, and cornerback.
