Rivals250 back visits Memphis

Rivals250 running back Robert Elliott made an official visit to Memphis during the weekend. It was the second official visit for the Ole Miss commit and he came away impressed with what he saw.
"(The visit) went real well, real well," Elliott said. "The atmosphere down there is great and the players are real cool to be around. The coaches are cool, also."

The Okolona (Miss.) High standout added that he is still committed to the Rebels.
"It's still the same," he said. "They are all on the same level. Ole Miss is just a little bit ahead of them. It's not even much, just by a little bit."
Elliott visited Ole Miss officially in December. His visit to Memphis was highlighted by a tour of the facilities.
"The best part was showing me that classroom up there," he said. "I think it's called The Auto Zone class room or something. It's big, like a theater. It was real nice in there.
"They also showed me the campus and I went to a few parties."
Toward the end of his visit, he sat down with Tigers head coach Tommy West, who will make an in-home visit with the Magnolia State's top running back prospect on Thursday.
"We didn't talk all that long because he will be at my house Thursday, so he didn't want to say everything," Elliott said. "He was asking me how I felt on my visit and what I liked and didn't like.
Elliott will Florida State officially next weekend. He is being recruited for the Seminoles by recruiting coordinator John Lilly.
"(Lilly) is a pretty good recruiter," Elliott said. "I just can't wait to see Tallahassee."
He will follow his trip to FSU with a visit to Mississippi State on the weekend of Jan. 26. J.B. Grimes is his Bulldogs recruiter.
"He's a nice guy and a good recruiter, too," he said "But all the schools' recruiters are very good."
Elliott, the nations' No. 13 running back prospect, rushed for 1,730 yards and 18 touchdowns this season.
