Rivals250 ATH staying patient

One player everyone was really looking forward to seeing at last month's Rivals Camp Series Presented by Under Armour in Richmond was Demetrius Johnson. The Rivals250 athlete from Annapolis (Md.) Annapolis Christian School didn't play much last year because of an injury but he had an excellent showing at the Richmond camp.
"I'm hearing from a couple of good schools and I got another offer from Marshall," said the 6-foot-2, 202-pound Johnson. "I talked to them for a while and the coach told me they offered me before we got off the phone. I talked to him the other day and we talked about the program, the school and some other things. I've also been talking to Old Dominion a lot."

Other than Marshall and Old Dominion, Johnson has offers from Maryland, Hawaii and N.C. State.
"Everything is going well with the schools that have offered me," he said. "I haven't talked to Maryland in a few weeks but it's going well."
Johnson seems to be taking everything one day at a time, including his recovery.
"I feel good," said Johnson. "My ankle wasn't hurting towards the end of the camp."
Once he has more game film to send to colleges, Johnson expects his recruitment to really pick up.
