The offers continue to roll in for Tampa (Fla.) Sickles athlete RayRay McCloud III but despite all the recent love, not much has changed for the two-way star.

"Nobody is standing out to me right now," McCloud said over the weekend. "I'm keeping all my options open. Notre Dame and North Carolina are my latest offers and it's been a great process just starting things back up after the dead period ended."

While McCloud is playing his cards close to his chest, he said things have gotten off to a good start with the Irish.

"Notre Dame came in and now I'm building a better relationship with running backs coach Tony Alford," McCloud said. "It's been going really well. They like me on offense so we'll see how it goes."

Some other schools believed to be high on McCloud's early list of favorites are Clemson and Florida. McCloud provided in-depth thoughts on each.

Clemson: "Clemson, that was my first big school that gave me a chance and had faith in me from the get-go. My freshman year Coach Elliot was recruiting my cousin Hank and he knew about me before I even got to high school. When I went there for a visit my freshman year and he told me he was going to offer me. He kept his work and that always sticks out to me. Coach Mike Reed I talked to him a few weeks ago and he's talking to me about playing defensive back. I'm planning on getting up there sometime before spring break. And I know for a fact I'm going there for the bus tour over the summer."

Florida: "I just talked to Coach T-Rob [Florida defensive backs coach Travaris Robinsono] and he talked to me dad, too. He was just seeing how I was and seeing how it was going. He asked what position I was going to play and said they would be fighting over me in the meeting room between the offensive and defensive coaches. Coach T-Rob and I have a great relationship, he's one of the greatest coaches I've ever talked to be honest."

With schools from all over the country knocking on his door, McCloud will have the option to stay close to home, or travel far from home to play at the next level. He said distance wouldn't be an issue when it comes time to decide.

"The distance factor is not one of my priorities," he said. "Whatever feels like home is important to me. It's a business move so wherever I need to spend the next 3-5 years to help me in the future and the place that feels like home is important."
