Rivals100 WR talks Bama, Gators

There's no doubt that four-star Homestead (Fla.) wide receiver Ermon Lane will have offers from pretty much every school in the country before his recruitment is all said and done, but it appears he's already starting to hone in on his top choices.
"The schools that are standing out are Alabama, Florida, LSU, Miami and Georgia," the No. 29 player in the Rivals100 said over the weekend.

Lane is spending the spring playing for the South Florida Express, perennially one of the best 7-on-7 teams in the country. He said he's enjoying the competition in practice and in games, while still doing his research in recruiting.
The talented wide receiver discussed SEC powers Alabama and Florida a little more in-depth.
Alabama: "They've won three of the last four national championships. There's not much else to say about them … Wherever you go you have to compete and any university there's going to be talented players but the best man usually wins and gets on the field."
Florida: "They improved a lot this past year. The defense came up big and the offense got better during the year. Overall they did great. Obviously they need a deep threat and I think that's where I can help out, come in a be a deep threat … I might go visit next month."
Lane said ideally he would choose a school that runs a pro-style offense, rather than a spread attack.
"I like a pro-style offense," he said. "Because that's what most of the NFL teams run."
One factor that could eventually play a role in Lane's decision is the early playing time. He said that playing early is important to him and he will be diligent in studying depth charts before making a final decision.
