Brown, 6-5 and 205 pounds, has already officially visited Georgia and Ohio State. With two in the books does he have a leader?
"No, not yet. It's down to those five schools and I am wide open right now.
"Georgia was a great visit all the way around. I really like the players, coaches and the fans were great. I was there for the Alabama game and the atmosphere was crazy.
"Ohio State was a good visit to. It was just a different visit. The weather, the people and everything up there was just different to me. But I still really enjoyed it and Ohio State is right there."
One thing to consider with Brown is basketball. Last season as a junior he averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds. He has a great passion for basketball as well as football.
"If it's football season then I love football. When it's basketball season I love basketball. I want to play both sports in college and that is huge with my decision.
"Right now I am talking to all the basketball coaches at all of these schools as well and I am trying to get a good feel for them as well. I know I can't really go wrong because all of these schools and coaches really stand out to me. I just need to figure out what school is best for me and where I feel the most comfortable."
Harding Academy is 7-2 on the season. They close out their regular season with Rossville Academy this Friday before the playoffs begin the first weekend in November.
