Rivals100 WR has visit plans

Between football, basketball, and track River Ridge (La.) John Curtis wide receiver Malachi Dupre is always on the go.
Right now he is in the middle of track season, and Dupre, who has already claimed championships in the high and triple jumps, feels good about the direction of his junior campaign.
"It's good. Last week we won the Sugar Bowl meet and I placed in all of my events," Dupre said. "I just do high, long, and triple jump. I high jump 6-8 consistently. I should be able to get 6-10 with no problem. I'm just working hard every day and working on getting faster. I ran a 4.5 over the weekend. I'm just working on my speed and getting faster. That's about it."
The Rivals100 standout is also beginning to take a closer look at the recruiting process. He has not narrowed down his list of schools and is not ready to name any favorites, but he is taking a closer look at his options.
The list of options includes the likes of Florida State, Michigan, LSU, UCLA, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Texas A&M, and he has a couple of unofficial visits in the works for the next few weeks.
"I'll probably go back to UCLA at the end of this month, and I may go to LSU this weekend or the next. I am not sure," Dupre said. "I'm pretty sure I'm going to UCLA at the end of this month and that's on the 26th, 27th and 28th."
He did not discount the possibility of visiting LSU on both weekends for the scrimmage and spring game, and he will likely be joined on his visit to UCLA by teammates Mattrell McGraw and Kenny Young. In addition to the April visits, he also hopes to make a few more unofficial visits in the near future.
"I'm pretty sure I'm going to make it to Notre Dame, Clemson, Florida State, and Arkansas in the next couple of months," Dupre said.
When it comes to making a decision, Dupre does not have a timetable at this point, but he does know what he is looking for in a particular program.
"I would say definitely good coaching. I want a team that wins," Dupre said. "I want a team I think I can be utilized early as a freshman. I want that to be a possibility. And somewhere that has a good education and a good fanbase behind the team also."
