Things just keep getting sweeter in the recruitment of Rivals100 receiver Dez Bryant. The talented Lufkin, Texas star picked up another offer, this time from the SEC.
LSU is a school that Bryant has consistently listed in his ever-changing list of favorites. Recently, they became the next school in a long line of others to offer the 6-foot-1, 195-pounder.
"Yeah, LSU came through this last week," Bryant said. "I liked it. I was happy about it. It was sort of a surprise."
Bryant, during the last update, said that Texas Tech, Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, and Texas A&M were in his top five. However, right now he's backing off of naming any top teams.
"Right now everybody is the same," Bryant said. "Texas Tech is coming on strong right now though. They send me a ton of stuff in the mail."
The recruiter for the Red Raiders, Bill Bedenbaugh, is also the coach that Bryant says he talks with on a regular basis.
"We talk quite a bit actually," he said. "He just stays on me to see if he can get me down to Lubbock for a visit."
So far, Texas A&M has been the only school that he's visited. Several colleges have come by the school so more visits and offers could be on the horizon.
"Arkansas and LSU coaches came by the school not too long ago," Bryant said. "Tennessee is sending me a lot of mail and they sound like they want to offer. I think they could be next."
