Rivals100 WR delays decision, whats next

WHAT'S HAPPENED?:Rivals100 wide receiver Kyle Davis set a decision date of Oct. 23 months ago, but as it turns out, he's not quite ready to make an announcement just yet. Davis informed Rivals.com and other media outlets Thursday morning that his Friday decision was canceled and he doesn't yet have a new date in mind.

WHAT'S NEXT?: Davis, who has been declining interview requests since his season started in August, doesn't have a timeline for a new decision date. He has already taken official visits to two of his three finalists, Georgia and Tennessee and is expected to take a trip to Auburn before the end of the season.
RIVALS' REACTION: When it comes to a high profile player making a decision, there's usually at least a general consensus behind the scenes about where that player will end up. But predictions were all over the place when it came to Davis, with most people thinking it would be Georgia but several others, including other highly ranked prospects, predicting it would be Auburn. In the end, nobody really knew and it seems as Davis didn't know himself. As far as which fan base this news is best for? I think right now Auburn should feel happy they get a chance to host Davis and his family for an official visit before he makes a decision. Either way, expect him to pop up in Athens and maybe even Knoxville before he does indeed announce a commitment. As other recruiting dominoes fall, it wouldn't be surprising to see another program or two try to work to get back in the mix as well.
