Rivals100 WR Cannon down to five

Rivals100 wide receiver KD Cannon wanted to start the month of August on the right foot so he decided now was the time to trim his list to five.
The Mount Pleasant (Texas) standout announced he planned to release his top five at 3 p.m. on Twitter and when the time arrived he wasted little time getting down to business.
First he thanked every school who extended an offer. Then at just past 3 p.m. he delivered the news.

"This is My Top 5 Turn Up #Baylor #Oklahoma #TexasTech #OleMiss #Florida," Cannon tweeted, while also attaching a picture of his list.
So why did he select the five programs as his final five? Cannon has the answers.
Baylor - "What allowed Baylor to make the cut is recently they've had good receivers and I've sort of built a good relationship with Baylor because I've been down there a lot so I know the coaches very well and I trust the coaches."
Oklahoma - "I went to their camp and they offered me and ever since then I've just stayed in contact with them and just have a good relationship with them"
Texas Tech - "Texas Tech, since coach (Kliff) Kingsbury came, I talked to him when he was at (Texas) A&M), and coach (Trey) Haverty, when he was at TCU, and they all came together so I thought I would give them a look and I went down there and loved it and really enjoyed myself."
Ole Miss - "Ole Miss is a school that is coming up on my list every time. Every time I talk to the coaches we have a great conversation and the coaching staff, I'm starting to connect with them and they're telling me how I'm going to fit into their offense."
Florida - "Florida, I've always liked Florida, so when they offered me, coach Joker (Phillips), I talked to him and the head coach and we've built a relationship right now and we're still building."
That is the list as it sits right now. He claimed no favorites out of his top schools, and indicated he would take his official visits. At this time he does not have any visits scheduled.
