Rivals100 safety starts to schedule visits

Rivals100 safety Chris Culliver recently announced he had cut his list to three schools. The Garner, N.C. prospect is in the process of scheduling visits and now appears to be looking at four programs.
"I've started to schedule trips," he said. "I've got one planned to Florida on January 12th and a mid-week trip to Florida State on the 23rd. I'm still trying to work my way down to Clemson and South Carolina for visits too sometime in January.

"I chose those schools because all of them are recruiting me hard. I want to see where I fit in at those programs and see how the visits go. Hopefully I'll be able to make a decision once I take these trips."
Florida State is obviously the new school to jump back into the mix. Does anything make them stand out?
"They have a good school," he said. "I know they didn't do really well this year because of a lot of injuries, but they'll be good soon. I also like the fact it would allow me to be closer to my family.
"All of these schools I like a lot. My decision is going to come down to where I'm most comfortable at. Right now all four programs are pretty even and things will change once I take my visits. If I like a place enough on my trip I may just go about and commit on the spot, it's a possibility."
The 6-foot-0, 188-pounder helped his team to a 13-2 record.
"We lost in the semifinals against Independence, but it was a good year overall," he stated. "I finished with 1,500 all-purpose yards, 160 tackles and five interceptions. I didn't get to help out on offense as much as I wanted to, but that happens sometimes."
This week the four-star prospect is participating in the 70th Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.
