Rivals100 safety picks Gators

The nation’s No. 2 ranked safety prospect is staying home.
Four-star Neptune Beach (Fla.) Fletcher defensive back Kyle Jackson (6-0, 190, 4.5) announced on a Jacksonville TV news broadcast that he’ll play his college football for the Gators. He reportedly had an in-home visit with Florida head coach Ron Zook on Tuesday night before going public with the decision.

Wearing a Florida sweatshirt, he cited his lifelong love of the Gator program, the coaching staff and immediate playing time as key factors in his decision.
Jackson picked Florida over offers from Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Florida State, LSU and Michigan. He had just returned from an official visit to the Crimson Tide last weekend, and also had a trip scheduled for the Volunteers in January.
As a senior, the Rivals100 Team member recorded 106 tackles, six interceptions and three fumble recoveries.
