Rivals100 safety has one official set

Any program in need of a safety would love to have Dallas (Texas) South Oak Cliff prospect Kevin Brent on its side. The Rivals100 prospect is the No. 4 safety in the entire country and early on in his senior season he is showing why he is such a valuable asset on the field.
Three games into the season, his team is 2-1 and Brent has been a big part of its success making big plays at every opportunity.

"I've gotten some tackles," he said. "I got an interception for a touchdown and I got a fumble for a touchdown."
Despite his obvious nose for the ball and athleticism, perhaps Brent's most impressive asset is his ability to bring the hat.
"I play like I'm at strong safety but they bring me up and down in the box. Depending on what team we play, if we play a run team I'm more of a run-stopper but if we play a pass team, I'm more of a pass defender."
Colleges love Brent's versatility and a lucky three are sitting at the top of his list: LSU, Oklahoma and Texas Tech. Brent anticipates visiting all three programs, but one school already has a date set.
"I set up my Oklahoma visit," he said. "It's Nov. 22 when they play Texas Tech. It worked out for both me and them and it was a game I wanted to see."
As of now, Brent plans on taking all five of his official visits. Three of the five will consists of Oklahoma, Texas Tech, LSU. For the other two visits, Brent will pick from USC, Miami and Missouri.
What has the three programs on top?
"Texas Tech, I really connect with their coaches, LSU it's a good fit for me the way they play defense. Oklahoma, it's my favorite team."
Brent has no set timeline foe his decision but he anticipates getting most of his official visits done during his senior season and having a decision announced before he plays in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in January.
