Rivals100 S releases top six

Nacogdoches (Texas) Rivals100 safety Brandon Jones has been working to narrow his list before the start of the season, and on Saturday he decided it was time to reveal his top six college choices.

THE LATEST: Brandon Jones released his top six college choices on Saturday. His list included Alabama, Baylor, LSU, Oregon, Texas, and Texas A&M. He has mentioned plans to take official visits to Ohio State and Oregon in the past, and he does not plan to announce a college commitment until after the season at the earliest.

ANALYST TAKE: Texas A&M has been at or near the top of Jones' list from the beginning. He has backed away from putting the Aggies at the top of his list, but Texas A&M definitely remains in strong standing. He received his first offer from the Aggies, he has a strong relationship with the coaches, and College Station has proximity to home in its favor. A case could be made for each of his top six though.
