Rivals100 RB talks VT, visits

One of the top-rated official visitors Virginia Tech hosted last weekend was Rivals250 running back Bryce Love. The Wake Forest (N.C.) star is making sure to do his homework before making a commitment.
"It was good and I had a lot of fun," said the 5-foot-9, 176-pound Love. "I met the players and go to know the area. You would have loved to see them win. It was a good game overall. I felt like Virginia Tech had some opportunities that they could have capitalized on but I know coach Beamer and them will get it right. They were saying that the last time they lost their first ACC game they came back and won the rest of them."

The Virginia Tech coaches made it clear to Love that he would have a big impact on the Hokie offense.
"They were saying I definitely fit in Virginia Tech," he said. "I would give them the opportunity to spread the field. I could run sweeps to the outside or run between the tackles and things like that. I would say they are up there for sure. I really enjoyed it and I liked the coaches."
Virginia Tech is one of the many schools Love is considering along with Stanford, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Florida and all of the North Carolina schools.
"I'm planning on getting out to Florida and Tennessee," Love said. "I think I'll be at Tennessee on October 24 but I'm not sure. I would say the schools I'm visiting plus Wisconsin and the in-state schools are my top schools."
As for as a commitment, Love isn't putting any pressure on himself to decide soon.
"Hopefully I can commit some time during the football season," he said. "That would be good."
As a junior, Love massed almost 2,000 rushing yards and scored 26 touchdowns.
