Rivals100 QB visits Alabama, Auburn

In the past month, Charlotte (N.C.) Latin quarterback Braden Hanson has taken in quite a few visits. Most recently the 6-foot-6, 200-pounder made the trip to Alabama to check out two SEC powers.
"I visited Alabama and Auburn a couple weekends ago," he said. "Those trips went well. They are the first schools I've seen out of state and it was a chance for me to get that perspective. I enjoyed what I saw; they have nice facilities and stadiums. Both were good, although I got a little more attention at Alabama. I sat down with coach Saban for about 30 minutes. Overall I could see myself going to either of them."

Currently the Rivals100 quarterback is taking a break from the recruiting game.
"I'm actually on spring break down in Mexico," he said. "I'm just chilling out right now.
"When I get back I'm going to start throwing the ball again because I'll be busy. I'm headed to Tennessee for their junior day on March 31st and then I'm looking at heading to the Nike Camp in Georgia and the Elite 11 at Georgia Tech."
With no clear favorites, what does Hanson want out of a school?
"Obviously academics is the big thing, I want a good education," he said. "Otherwise, I'd like to play for a reputable program and have a good relationship with the coaches."
Hanson accounted for approximately 2,800 yards of offense and 43 touchdowns to 12 interceptions as a junior.
