Rivals100 offensive tackle Marquis Franklin has picked up his fourth offer and is ready to get busy with some unofficial visits.
Baylor joined Iowa, Oklahoma State, and Texas A&M as the current offers on the table for the 6-foot-5, 315-pound tackle. Even though Texas remains the favorite, Franklin will take in a few other schools this week.
"I'm going to LSU tomorrow to watch spring practice and just see how everything is down there," Franklin said about a visit to see the Tigers. "I'm also going to try and get up to Oklahoma State this next weekend. That's also to watch spring practice and just check the place out."
Even with the new offer, the Longhorns continue to hold the leader position.
"I've been talking with coach Ken Rucker quite a bit," Franklin said. "He told me to work on my grades and try to get down for the next junior day. They're still on top for me."
LSU could be the next offer with how hard the coaches are recruiting Franklin.
"Oh yeah, they're on me and they told me that they want me and all of that," he said. "I just don't have it on paper yet."
