Four-star offensive tackle Anthony Davis has been busy since the season started. The 6-foot-5, 341-pounder out of Piscataway, N.J. isn't thinking about recruiting much, but instead is focused on helping his team win.
"We've played one game so far against Hillsboro and won 25-0," he said. "Right now I'm just practicing with the team, taking it day by day as we prepare for the game this week. We're working hard and should be able to take it all the way to another championship.
"Against Hillsboro, I had an interception, two sacks and about six tackles. I also had about eight or nine pancake blocks. I was pretty happy with it, but I know I can do a lot better. I can still improve on my speed and strength and I want to be more of a team leader."

At this time, recruiting has taken a back seat for Davis.
"I'm focused on my team and not really dealing with recruiting," he stated. "Miami is still on top now. I really like the brotherhood they have on the team and the entire program there. Most likely I'll take all of my officials after the season."
