Rivals100 OL Rasheed Walker sets another unofficial visit

Rivals100 offensive lineman Rasheed Walker has maintained a top four of Penn State, Ohio State, Virginia Tech and Maryland for months. The Waldorf (Md.) North Point star is taking his time before announcing a commitment and, despite his attire in the video, isn't giving away any hints on where he will end up. Walker has set another unofficial visit, is working on his official visit dates, and knows when he wants to commit. He discusses all of that in the video above.

Maryland (1:05)- It's homecoming week at North Point and today was character day at school so Walker dressed up as a Maryland coach. He thinks the team is handling the injuries at quarterback very well. Walker's last visit to Maryland was for the UCF game. "I like Maryland a lot." Maryland was Walker's first offer and he has a strong relationship with the staff.

Virginia Tech (3:12)- Walker's most recent visit was to Virginia Tech for the Clemson game. He called the experience “crazy” and got to meet Mike Vick and Bruce Smith. Walker thought the game atmosphere was “ridiculous.” He is confident in the coaching staff's ability to develop him. Current Virginia Tech player Nathan Proctor is Walker's close friend and he tells Walker he likes the environment and the experience so far.

Penn State (4:44)- Walker has a strong relationship with a lot of the coaches and likes the direction of the program. “I really like Penn State a lot.” The coaches are telling him he can come in and compete because there is a need at his position. His conversations with the coaches aren’t about recruiting as much anymore as they are about other things.

Ohio State (6:07)- The Ohio State coaches are in touch with Walker a lot. He is visiting next week for the Penn State game. It will be an unofficial visit. Walker knows it’s going to be an intense game. The coaches are telling him he has an opportunity to play early if he competes well. Isaiah Prince has talked to him about how to transition from high school to college.

Walker will take official visits in mid-November and early December. He said he is definitely taking official visits to Ohio State, Penn State and Virginia Tech. Maryland and Florida might get one. Walker thinks Virginia Tech wants him to take his official visit November 10th-12th. He wants to commit at the Army All-America Bowl.

Florida (8:39)- He is thinking about taking an official visit to Florida. He talks to coach Davis a lot and he really wants Walker to get on campus.
