Rivals100 OL checks out Alabama

Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab 2017 Rivals100 offensive tackle Adrian Ealy took his first trip of the spring to checkout the Alabama Crimson Tide, and he felt good about what he saw in Tuscaloosa.
"It was amazing," Ealy said. "I talked to a lot of coaches and they were treating me right up there. I met some of the players and I talked to the o-line coach."

Talking with coach Mario Cristobal was one of the main highlights of the trip.
"It meant a lot," Ealy said. "He was warming with the o-linemen and he ran over to the sideline and saw me and shook my hand and said he was glad I was there. That meant a lot. He's a great guy and I just love him. He talked to us and I just loved how he was speaking."
Ealy also liked how Cristobal coached the offensive line.
"I like how he is always showing his o-linemen," Ealy said. "He was showing a lot of technique and I was watching their technique and I got some moves for myself."
While at Alabama, Ealy was also able to pick the brain of Louisiana-native and former five-star recruit Cameron Robinson.
"He just said it's the place to be and it would be a good place for me and they would love me and treat you like I was one of the family and their own son," Ealy said.
Ealy plans to visit Tennessee next for the Volunteers' spring game. The Volunteers have been keeping in close contact, and Ealy is looking forward to the trip to Knoxville.
"It's been good. They've been saying they want me to come up there and visit, so they're really showing a lot of interest," Ealy said. "My dad called them one time and they were very excited he called them."
He currently holds offers from LSU, Florida, Florida State, Texas, and Mississippi State, and during the summer months, Ealy plans to camp at Clemson, Georgia, South Carolina, LSU, and Alabama.
Right now he is keeping his options open, and he does not have a definite timetable on when he would like to make a decision.
He may not be ready to name any leaders, but there are two programs who have shown more interest than the others.
"I'd say Clemson. I mean LSU is showing a lot of interest, but I'd say Clemson," Ealy said. Clemson has been sending me letters and everything. I'm going to say LSU has been up there with them too.
"I always see LSU. I just walk around LSU's campus. I see some of the coaches and I just talk to them. I always have good conversations with them. Clemson, they send a lot of letters to my house and I talk to coach Venables some times."
