Rivals100 LB returns from first trip

Brandywine (Md.) Gwynn Park linebacker Wes Jefferson finally took his first official visit this weekend. So how did the nation's No. 2 inside linebacker like Miami?
"I had a good time down there," said the 6-foot-2, 230-pounder. "I was hosted by Leon Williams and he told me a lot of things about how they use their linebackers and how good the strength program is at Miami. Miami is moving up on my list."

Jefferson said his only concern was that Miami was fairly far away from home, although he timed the flight there and back.
"It took a little over two hours on the way there and under two hours on the way back," he said. "It's not that bad, but it's still a little far away."
Next up for Jefferson is Maryland on Dec. 20 and he also has Ohio State set for Jan. 17.
"I'm also going to Notre Dame and probably Penn State," he said. "Virginia is coming to my house on Wednesday and they're recruiting me hard, but I don't think I'll go there."
