Rivals100 LB has a top-three

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas’s Tavares Gooden is one of the top linebacker prospects in the nation. The 6-foot-2 and 220 pound standout has his pick of pretty much any school in the country. Recently, Rivals.com caught up with him to see where stands with his recruitment.
“I plan on making official visits to Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Louisiana State and Miami,” the Rivals100 No.5th ranked inside linebacker in the country said.

“My big-three schools are Miami, Ohio State and LSU”, he said.
“I like all three of those schools about the same,” he said. “I would have a chance to play early at all three of those schools, and I could come right in and help them out. They aren’t one year teams. They are teams that have a chance to win a national championship each and every year.”
The South Florida native will have coaches from Ohio State, Miami and Louisiana State in his home next week.
Gooden, the Rivals.com No. 17th ranked player in Florida, finished his senior season with 60 tackles and eight sacks despite being double and triple team blocked.
