Rivals100 DT Loves The SEC

One of the most talked about and sought after defensive gems comes from the peach state. And one of the top major questions is what schools is he interested in attending? He is probably the top defensive tackle in the southeast region and wants to stay near home.
Tyrone (GA) Sandy Creek linemen Kedric Golston is 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.85 seconds. Those lend themselves well to a player that just likes to get after it.

"It is like this when I am off the field I am very nice and caring, but on the field I am as nasty as I can be," he said. "I just think that is the way the game should be played."
"I love to play hard. It is not easy to find a lot of big guys that play hard. If I play hard I will be right at the top."
What schools are you looking to take that status?
"Georgia, Florida, Auburn, Tennessee and Louisiana State," he said. "They are definately my favorites."
"I will more than likely take official visits to all of those schools."
Wasn't Florida State near the top at one point?
"Florida State is still kind of in there, but I want to play in the South Eastern Conference," he said. "I just feel comfortable with all of my favorites coaching staffs and I really like the football in the SEC. It is the best."
So is staying close to home important?
"I will definitely play in the surrounding states," he said. "Personally I want to play in the south because they do it right down here."
When do you plan on taking your official visits?
"I will wait until after the season to take my official visits," he said. "You don’t get your senior year over. I want to totally focus on the season."
There really isn't a school in the south that would have a problem with that at all.
