Rivals100 DE changes plans, again

Sunday was supposed to finally be decision day for Rivals100 defensive end Richetti Jones. That has changed again.
The four-star Dallas (Texas) Lincoln defender says told Rivals.com this weekend that he will probably not be deciding on Fox Sports Southwest this evening after all. Rumors have been floating around as to why it's been so difficult for Jones to set a decision date.

He says it has little to do with his college choice but rather the way he's planning to do it.
"First of all, I told some people that I wasn't 'feeling making" the announcement this weekend," the 6-foot-3, 234 pound Jones said. "That wasn't about any of my choices or where I was going to commit, but about doing it on television. I didn't feel like I knew what was going to happen during the broadcast."
"I want to make sure I know exactly which questions are going to be asked and what I'm going to be doing while I'm on the air. I just needed to know more about the whole thing."
Jones has had several different dates including this past Wedensday and the Sunday before that. It doesn't appear that he'll be doing it on television anytime soon at this point.
"I'm 99 percent sure that I'm not committing on Sunday now," he said. "I wanted to do it last Wednesday, but the date kept changing with the network. I may announce on my own or I may see if we can come up with another time to do it."
Jones says that Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Florida continue to be the schools on his mind going into his announcement. The Cowboys have been a school in the driver's seat for some time.
Jones is the No. 3 rated strongside defensive end in the country and the No. 8 prospect in the state of Texas.
