Rivals100 DE adds an offer

Rivals100 defensive end Jack Lippert has hauled in his second scholarship. The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder landed his second offer and took a couple unofficial visits recently.
"I just visited Pittsburgh and Penn State for junior days," he said. "I went to Penn State a week ago and Pittsburgh two weekends ago.
"Penn State was great. I got a lot of good information about the school environment and where the players stay. It was my first time meeting Coach Paterno personally. He is real witty for an old guy. I like the environment a lot too.

"As for Pittsburgh, it's definitely a different city. Things were great out there. I liked Pitt a lot. Coach Wannstedt told me that he's coming to visit me and he's a really good guy. I like him a lot. I liked meeting the players too."
Now Lippert holds two offers from Boston College and Pittsburgh.
"Boston College sent me an offer last Tuesday," he said. "I have no date, but I'm planning to visit them either for a junior day or maybe just a weekend. I may also go to Maryland, West Virginia and Connecticut soon."
Does anything stick out about the latest offer?
"From everything I've heard about Boston College it's a great school. It's a great place in a nice city and I hear a lot of good things."
The four-star prospect went on to discuss what he's looking for in a college.
"I'm just looking for a great environment, coaching staff, good academics and a good location. I'd like to stay in the Northeast."
