Rivals100 DB Xavier McKinney has his mind made up headed into Sunday

The Latest: Xavier McKinney comes into Under Armour week with an announcement looming at Sunday’s game and all of his decision already made. The only problem for fans of Clemson, Ohio State and Alabama – he’s not giving away many hints. In His Words:

On Clemson: “Clemson is a family-based program. They want me to come in and play early, the coaches are honest and they’ve always been real with me as far as my grades and my family and stuff like that … they do say that I can be able to come in and replace Jadar [Johnson] who will be leaving next year.”

On Alabama: “Of course they win and that’s something I like to do. Nick Saban’s being the defensive backs coach, I think that’s a plus because he knows so many people and so many people know him. I feel like that’s a huge advantage for who will be coaching me in the backfield.”

Rivals Reaction: McKinney said his mind is made up, which comes as a bit of surprise. He has a former teammate at Clemson, as well of a couple of friends committed in the Class of 2017. But he was also already committed to Alabama and the Tide need another safety to fill out their class. Will McKinney be the man? Fans will have to wait until Sunday to find out.
