Rivals100 DB Tabor weighing four

With the camp season nearing its end, many of the offseason warriors are growing tired of all the traveling. Jalen Tabor has participated in more Spring and Summer camps then he can count. The highly ranked four-star defensive back out of Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate Academy just visited two SEC teams in his top four.
"At Vanderbilt I basically got to see everything again," said the 6-foot-1, 186-pound Tabor. "I got to go in the stadium and watch camp to see how Coach Butler teaches his guys. I saw the weight room and met with the strength coach. I sat down and talked to Coach Franklin. He is a minority head coach and he can relate pretty well."

After the Vanderbilt camp, Tabor left Nashville and made the trip to Tuscaloosa.
"I did the camp at Alabama," he said. "I got to compete with some really good players and I learned a lot from Coach Saban. His defenses are crazy. I get football and when I was with him it was amazing. I saw everything down there at Alabama. All the coaches love me down there and they have that family atmosphere. Both of them are on the same level when it comes to relationships but Alabama has a lot more resources."
Tabor's list of top schools has seen a lot of changes throughout the process, to say the least. Now with a top four of Alabama, Vanderbilt, Maryland and Florida Tabor is starting to put things in order.
"Alabama has moved up the list but I don't really have an order right now," Tabor said. "If I had to give a percentage to the team I'm favoring right now, it would be 30 percent for Alabama, 25 percent for Maryland, 25 percent for Florida and 20 percent for Vanderbilt."
With Tabor's offseason coming to a close, these percentages will carry Tabor's top four schools into the season and, ultimately, to a decision. The question is when we will hear about a decision from Tabor.
"I'm waiting to announce my decision at the Under Armour All-American Game," he said. "There is a possibility that I could decide early but not let anyone know until then.
Tabor will not be visiting Florida this weekend.
