You have to love kids that love to have fun with the recruiting process, and nobody is having more fun that Melbourne (Fla.) Palm Bay standout safety Reggie Nelson.

"This is just a bunch of fun to me and Joe (Cohen)," Nelson, who is a ranked as the nation's No. 3 safety and a member of the Rivals100 team, said. “We’re just taking this as we come along and we’ll talk to about anybody that talks to us or asks us to come take a visit.”
After already visiting LSU back on October 18, Nelson said he’s only got one other visit set – to Oregon on December 13.
Oregon? Where did the Ducks come from on his list?
“They just started calling and the coaches were cool,” Nelson, who is 6-foot and 170 pounds, said. “Joe and I are going to check that out. We’re just going to take the visit and see what happens.”
Nelson also mentioned the in-state schools – Miami, Florida and Florida State – and Georgia, Oklahoma and Central Florida as teams that are talking to him on a regular basis. He mentioned that the coaches from Central Florida would be in his house for an in-home visit on Wednesday. He said he is likely not to take official visits with Cohen to any of the three local schools since he’s “been there a thousand times.”
“I didn’t know it was that time already,” he said. “I guess we’re going to have to clean up around here some, huh.”
Nelson and Cohen are set to battle Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln – and it’s cast of four four star recruits - in the state’s final four this week upcoming Friday night. He said he and his teammates are looking for a little revenge.
“They knocked us out last year,” Nelson said. “We’re going to have to play a great game, but I want to be the ones that knock them out this year.”
