Rivals100 CB takes first trip

Daytona Beach (Fla.) Seabreeze standout cornerback Kenny Scott liked a lot about his visit to Notre Dame this weekend. But it’s the one thing that he didn’t like that might keep him from wearing green and gold.

“It was cold,” Scott, who is 6-foot-1 and 176 pound, said. “I mean it was really cold. You could see your breath and everything. I didn’t like that.”
What he did like was talking to coach Tyrone Willingham about the Irish program and its tradition.
“That’s a great thing about Notre Dame is that it has great tradition and it also has great academics,” he said. “That’s the thing that some other schools might not have – the academics.”
That might be partially true, but Georgia Tech (December 13, Florida State (January 10), Tennessee (January 17) and Florida (January 24).
“I’m still not leaning anywhere,” he said.
He did not know what schools were coming by this week for in-home visits.
