Rivals100 CB makes up his mind

Many people thought it was going to be either Georgia or Florida State for Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco Prep four-star cornerback Michael Ray Garvin and they were right. The 5-foot-8, 179-pounder made his decision tonight after an impressive in-home visit.
“I’ve always liked Florida State,” Garvin said.

“I loved my visit, and I felt comfortable with the players and coaches. I also like the ACC and feel it’s a great conference. It’s also close enough to home, so my family can see me play.”
Garvin, ranked as the nation’s No. 85 player, said he has finished with the recruiting process after visiting tonight with FSU head coach Bobby Bowden.
“I’m not going to visit Oklahoma this weekend,” he said. “I’m done with the recruiting process.”
Garvin plans to play corner and return kicks for the Noles in college. He said Georgia finished No. 2 in the race to land him.
