Kendrick Hardy is one of the nation's top running back prospects. This Rivals100 member (No. 50) is from Monticello (Miss.) Lawrence County High School. Hardy, 6-0 and 210 pounds, has very good speed and is a challenge to contain for any defense.
"Spring is going well," Hardy said. "I have really worked hard on trying to get quicker and faster. I am cutting better. I am a down hill runner and I just want to work on all phases of my game."
According to Hardy he has scholarship offers from five schools – Southern Miss, Ole Miss, Auburn, Alabama, and Mississippi State.
"Really, I like them all and I am open.
"I like how Ole Miss talks to me. I feel comfortable with those coaches and I know they will run a lot.
"I went down to Southern Miss and I liked it down there. I like coach (Larry) Fedora and I feel good about them.
"At Mississippi State I like how I would ft in.
"I have not had a chance to see Auburn and Alabama. I will try and check out this summer. I would like to camp at both schools.
"I am looking to find a place where I feel real comfortable. I will also be checking out the campuses and the school environment."
Hardy has taken unofficial visits to Southern Miss, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
