Rivals100 ATH picks Ohio State

Rivals100 athlete Corey Brown made his pledge today. The 6-foot-1, 180-pounder picked Ohio State over numerous other offers including Michigan, Miami, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Penn State, Boston College, NC State, North Carolina and others.
"He had been up to Ohio State three times and went up there this past weekend with his mom and family," Monroeville (Pa.) Gateway head coach Terry Smith said. "He was up there with Coach Tressel and he liked the way they presented themselves. He thought it was the right place for him.

"He likes their overall success and they've been in national championships three of the last five years. He seems himself playing there and all the success they've had getting players to the NFL and getting himself to the next level."
The Buckeyes recruited Brown as a cornerback.
"They are getting a big-time player, a big-time playmaker," he said. "He has exceptional ball skills, is an instinctive physical corner and a great kid. He doesn't say more than two words and comes to work every day.
"He's a humble kid that hates to talk about himself. He'll talk about Gateway and his team. He's one you'll root for when you get to know him."
