OL Zach Rogers, Lewisville (Texas) Hebron
vs.
DL T.D. Moton, Shreveport (La.) Calvary Academy
---------
Why Rogers has an edge:
Rogers was a top offensive line performer at the 2012 Rivals250 Underclassmen Challenge, and he just came out of working with the top offensive linemen in the country last month at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge presented by Under Armour. Rogers goes into the event with supreme confidence, and nothing he sees this weekend will intimidate him. The 6-foot-3, 274-pound prospect has a great initial punch and is tough to disengage from once he locks on. Rogers expects to win every rep he takes, and he has the ability to make it happen. -- Josh Helmholdt, Midwest recruiting analyst
---------
Why Moton has an edge:
Moton's size is the first thing that comes to mind, but that will not bother Rogers. What Moton brings to this matchup is surprising quickness. He does a great job of using his hands as well as his quick feet and a strong lower half. Another thing to watch for with Moton is his motor. He does not quit and does a good job of getting underneath his opponent. He is not quite the technician Rogers is but he will come with a few moves in his arsenal and I think that quickness will be a little surprising. -- Jason Howell, Midlands recruiting analyst
---------
Overall edge:
Moton is a massive prospect who is an excellent interior pass-rusher and you would expect him to overwhelm the smaller Rogers. However, we expected the same to happen in Chicago and it didn't. The combination of quick feet and excellent technique make Rogers the favorite against anyone at the event. He anchors so well he will be hard to beat. -- Mike Farrell, national recruiting analyst
