Rivals unveiled its updated class rankings this week as the majority of senior prospects put an exclamation point on their high school careers. This is one of the most critical rankings updates because only a select few more prospects will suit up again in an All-American game in January.
Among those are a handful of borderline five-stars that are right on the cusp of that highly coveted ranking. As the Rivals analyst team gears up for its time in Orlando and San Antonio, we take a look at four prospects that could wind up as five-stars to close out the 2020 cycle.

Initially, Sanders was a four-star athlete projected to play tight end at Oklahoma. This offseason, Sanders flipped his commitment from the Sooners to the Tide and is ticketed to be an edge-rusher in T-Town. This season, Sanders has been dominant on both sides of the ball for Denton Ryan. He’s instinctual and a natural playmaker wherever he is lined up on the field. He enters the All-America Game as a borderline five-star, but if he can showcase his ability to get after the quarterback and drop back in coverage on the big stage, he could snatch his fifth star. - Sam Spiegelman, Texas/Louisiana Recruiting Analyst

Capehart is incredibly quick for his size and definitely has a five-star ceiling. His development from a technical standpoint has been encouraging, but he still divides the analyst team when it comes to five-star status. If he turns in a big week at the Under Armour All-America Game, he could erase all doubt. - Rob Cassidy, Florida Recruiting Analyst

Scott could have made an argument entering his senior season that he should be more heavily considered for five-star status because he’s a terrific outside receiver, looks great physically and he’s done well over the years during the season and on the 7-on-7 circuit.
But now he has an even better argument after his performances this year. The high four-star has 69 catches for 1,366 yards and 15 touchdowns with the state championship coming up. When it comes to big targets who can stretch the field, Scott is one of the best in the country. A big performance at the all-star events could further solidify his case. - Adam Gorney, West Coast Recruiting Analyst

Webb is a very interesting recruit. He is very quiet and reserved when it comes to telling his story, and he kind of plays the game on the field that way as well. He shows up and makes plays, but he is not loud, he does not talk trash, he does not self-promote and at times he can be a little overlooked. Some may not realize just how good he is due to that.
He is an Under Armour All-American, so many eyes will be on him late in December and into early January. He will not be overlooked there. If he does stand out and shows in this week what he has consistently shown over the past 12 months he could very well put himself in the mix to receive that fifth star on Rivals.com. - Chad Simmons, Southeast Recruiting Analyst
