TWO TOWERING TACKLES AT THE TOP
The duo of Jackson Cantwell and Immanuel Iheanacho may be hard to budge off of the top of the rankings based on their immense size and trajectory. Cantwell is the top-ranked offensive recruit in the Rivals250, sitting at No. 2 overall with rare physical marks to his name despite a lack of national exposure. It's the opposite for Iheanacho, who has long been towering at 6-foot-7, 340 pounds, but he has shown marked improvement against elite competition. He capped the rise with a better than expected showing at the Rivals Five-Star against older and much more experienced competition.
Quarterback is the only position with more five-stars currently listed than offensive tackle, and each big man remains uncommitted at this point. Cantwell, who went viral for repping 450 pounds on the bench press a few weeks back, has programs like Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Oregon and others among his top programs released in July. Iheanacho was at Oregon late in the summer and the Ducks figure to remain a player in the race along with programs like Ohio State, Penn State, Georgia, Alabama, and local Maryland among those expected to be named once a top list drops.

REST OF TACKLE RANKINGS ARE SHUFFLED
The tackle ranked highest outside of the top two is now Penn State commitment and in-state star Kevin Brown. The versatile blocker looks like he could play left or right tackle down the line fresh off of an impressive showing at the Rivals Five-Star, where he looked stout against bigger and smaller rushers alike and showed some mean streak in the process. Now Brown sits at No. 15 in the Rivals250, with former five-star Keenyi Pepe refreshing at No. 21 as he rounds out his game.
The group challenging to get set in five-star range isn't small, either, Lone Star State tackle John Turntine and Pierre Dean all check in as top-25 talents overall. Despite a slide, Maxwell Riley remains in the top 50 as does North Carolina's Ekene Ogboko. Eight offensive tackle projections in the top 50 nationally exceeds that of the 2025 class, one known for strength and depth at the tackle position in general.

GUARDS MOVE UP THE RANKS
One of the most talked about prospects in the class is back on the offensive side of the projections in Lamar Brown. The Louisiana native is a legitimate two-way prospect to the point that many programs view him on offense at the next level, but some still prefer his 6-foot-5, 280 pounds on the defensive interior. Either way he checks in as the top-ranked guard projection nationally at No. 16 overall with a wide-open recruitment. The next highest-ranked guard is way down at No. 90 overall in Tyler Merrill of Pennsylvania.
Two other big blockers made strong moves up the rankings in this update, beginning with Florida's Chancellor Barclay, who racked up blue blood offers at just about every camp he attended this offseason. Florida got the most recent visit out of Barclay, who moved up more than 50 spots to contend at No. 111 in the Rivals250, top-five among guards. Another mover is among the biggest interior projections in the cycle is Desmond Green of South Carolina. The 34-move run places the 330-pounder into the top 150 nationally, marking the second straight update in which he made a large step forward.
Nineteen prospects debuted in the Rivals250 for the first time on the trail, including one along the offensive front in South Dakota native Hudson Parliament, who added his fourth star as his offer list rolls beyond a dozen. The junior is No. 248 in the Rivals250.

DON'T SLEEP ON A GREAT CENTER CLASS
Center is hard to project and could be overlooked in most cycles, especially with so much strength at tackle, but the center group is shaping up to be a steady one. Two-way talent Zykie Helton retains the top spot among projections, but he'll have steady competition all the way through the process. Second on the list is a new center projection in Grant Wise, the son of former Miami Hurricane center Ty Wise, who had huge camp performances this offseason after a banner 2023 season and weightlifting campaign in the spring.
Auburn commitment Kail Ellis remains a fixture in the Rivals250, now third at the position, following a strong offseason that included an MVP run at the Rivals Camp Series stop in Atlanta. There is a group of recruits at the position, up to four-star status, not yet cracked into the top of the rankings so this position could see considerable competition and shuffle in the final pecking order with their junior seasons just now getting underway.
