Young is one of the most consistent defensive linemen I’ve evaluated over the last 18 months. He helped his team play for a state title, he had a strong week in San Antonio as an All-American and he is committed to Alabama, so there is a lot to like about Young.

"When breaking his game down, he has shown the ability to play the five or three-technique on the defensive line. He is very strong at the point of attack and he is athletic enough to get up the field to disrupt things in the backfield. I would not say Young is flashy, but he is effective, consistent and at times, dominant in the trenches. He has made a strong case to make a move into the Rivals100 with his play in the last month on the biggest stages." -- Chad Simmons, Southeast analyst

"I am doing some early research for the 2019 NFL Draft and a lot of writers have Clemson's Dexter Lawrence as a first-round pick with the reason being that not many people come along at his size and so pro teams are going to be very intrigued from the outset. Well, Ika is already 6-foot-4 and 330 pounds and he had the desire to play in the SEC to test himself against the best and reach his potential as a defensive tackle.

"Yes, Ika is much more of a space-eater than anything else right now but he is strong, he demands two blockers most times and opponents can forget about running the ball up the middle against him because he's so huge.

"Let's project three or four years from now. Ika would already be one of the biggest players on LSU's roster and there are a lot of big boys in Baton Rouge. Once he refines his skills as a defensive tackle, he could be a superstar." -- Adam Gorney, West/National analyst

"Barnett's ceiling is very high. The Michigan State signee has great size for a defensive back and there is a lot to like about how he moves in the open field. His technique is still a bit raw but the instincts, anticipation, and ball skills he showed at the Under Armour All-America Game were very good. Barnett will need to work on the finer points of his game, so offensive coordinators don't take advantage of his aggressive nature. Barnett has plenty of attributes to make the Rivals100." -- Adam Friedman, Mid-Atlantic analyst
