NEW 2020 STATE RANKINGS

MORE STATE RANKINGS SPOTLIGHT: Mid-Atlantic | Midwest | Texas

A one-time Miami commit, Manuel’s recruitment is once again wide open. Florida State and Florida are heavily involved with the Ocala product, and Miami could find itself back in the mix as well. Manuel wasn’t exactly a mainstay on the camp circuit this offseason as he nursed minor injuries and participated in few events. That said, he did nothing to hurt his ranking or change anyone’s line of thinking about him, so he remains a five-star and the top player in the state.

A work in progress, Davis is ranked on potential. His size and athleticism give him elite upside and his trajectory is positive. Davis continues to improve and is expected to take another major step forward this year. Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Miami seem like the major players for his commitment but that’s subject to change. Davis spent the offseason holding his own against top-flight prospects in the class of 2019, showing physicality and fluidity.

The next big name at Ft. Lauderdale-based FBS factory St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Rosemy has the size and athleticism to be truly special. He continues to add muscle making him a load to jam at the line and has proven he is also capable of taking smaller cornerbacks deep. His versatility is what makes him an in-demand player. Rosemy seems high on all three in-state schools and Penn State but has named no leader.

Williams has left IMG academy to return to Deland High School. He was once committed to Miami but has now opened his recruitment to include schools such as Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Florida State and others. A versatile athlete that is capable of playing both at defensive back and wide receiver, it’s starting to seem as though his future will be at cornerback but nothing on that front is set in stone. Williams, who isn’t the longest athlete in the country, is as explosive as players come. His closing speed more than makes up for his lack of truly elite size.

Britt gets a bump up the rankings after a solid showing at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge presented by adidas. Britt, whose hands are his calling card, continues to add size and possibly is the smoothest wideout in the state. The four-star prospect has been committed to Miami for some time and is unlikely to reopen his recruitment.
