RIVALS RANKINGS WEEK:

Monday: Updated Top 10 revealed

Tuesday: Updated 2020 Rivals100

Wednesday: Updated 2020 Rivals250

Thursday: Updated position rankings

TEAM WITH TOP COMMITS: Miami

The Canes are currently tied with Alabama and LSU for the most wide receiver and tight end commitments but all three of their commits are in the Rivals250, so Miami gets the nod here. Receiver Marc Britt at No. 49 in the Rivals100 is one of the best in the entire class. Ranked No. 11 in the receiver rankings, Britt’s ranking took a little dip in this rankings update but remains one of the top playmakers in the country. Bryan Robinson, a receiver out of South Florida, committed to the Canes in July. He landed at No. 23 in the receiver rankings and No. 114 in the Rivals250. Canes tight end commit Dominic Mammarelli is No. 6 in the tight end rankings and No. 210 in the Rivals250.

TEAMS TO WATCH: Ohio State and Penn State

The Buckeyes have a long history of churning out great wide receivers and they are poised to reel in some on the nation’s best in 2020. Ohio State’s wide receivers coach Brian Hartline has quickly developed strong relationships with Rakim Jarrett and Julian Fleming, the top two receivers in the 2020 class. Jarrett, prior to Hartline’s promotion from interim wide receivers coach, was rumored to be close to committing to the Buckeyes on multiple occasions. Jarrett is also taking a hard look at Penn State but Fleming is considered a toss-up between the two schools. Some believe Fleming won’t leave the state for college but he has shown a lot of interest in Ohio State. Ohio State and Penn State have plenty of other targets in the 2020 class, but both are very realistic landing spots for the top two receivers in the Rivals100.

PLAYER TO WATCH: Devell Washington

Washington has an impressive list of suitors but the main contenders for the Michigan native are Michigan State, Michigan and Ohio State. The Spartans are rumored to be the team to beat and they have been close to getting his commitment on more than one occasion. Michigan and Ohio State have gotten Washington on campus a few times this fall as well but he seems to be thoroughly researching his options. Washington has not announced any commitment date but there might not be much warning before he pulls the trigger.
