TEAMS WITH THE TOP COMMITS: Alabama, LSU

One of the biggest movers in the updated 2020 rankings was four-star LSU commitment Kayshon Boutte, now a 5.9 and inside the top-20 for the class. Boutte jumped one spot ahead of fellow Tigers' pledge Darin Turner out of Memphis to give Ed Orgeron's a dynamic 1-2 punch to replenish the program's receiving corps for the foreseeable future. Furthermore, the third leg of this triangle, Kris Draine, is also ranked inside the top-60. LSU is also making new Rivals100 wideout Koy Moore a priority in this class. When it's all said and done, the Tigers could sign four nationally ranked receivers.

It's a similar trend for Alabama, which holds commitments from two top-40 receivers in Javon Baker and Dazalin Worsham. Adding intrigue among arch-rivals, the Tide recently hosted the aforementioned Turner for an unofficial visit. An Alabama-LSU battle for one of Tennessee's top prospects may be on deck for the remainder of this recruiting cycle. The new Alabama staff is also very high on in-state four-stars Eddie Williams and JJ Evans, and in traditional fashion, seem poised to tack on a few more impressive wideouts to their 2020 haul.

TEAM TO WATCH: TEXAS A&M

Demond Demas is on the cusp of earning a fifth star, and in the newest installment of the Rivals.com rankings release sits No. 4 in the nation among wideouts. The Texas A&M pledge remains one of the most coveted prospects out of the Lone Star State and continues to insist he's sticking with the Aggies. Demas, of course, is in the mix to be just the fourth receiver to eventually add another star beside his name, and A&M is out to add even more elite pass-catchers around the in-state product.

Troy Omeire, another Rivals100 receiver, is high on both the Aggies and Longhorns and seems likely to continue playing his college ball in Texas. Texas A&M legacy Devin Price recently garnered an offer from the team, and the program is likely in good shape with him as his dad played for and currently coaches for the Aggies. Price, a new 5.8 in the rankings, is another top target for Jimbo Fisher. The same goes for Loic Fouonji, a four-star from Midland Lee (Texas) ranked right behind Price and another new four-star.

PLAYER TO WATCH: Darnell Washington

If you appreciate the unknown, then you'll enjoy following the recruitment of Washington. The lone five-star tight end in the country has kept his recruitment close to the vest and it appears that all the major college football powers are in play to land the elite pass-catcher.

Washington currently sits as the No. 17 overall prospect and the only tight end ranked inside the Rivals100 for 2020. His offer sheet is wildly impressive and he's keeping an open mind to all the schools who have offered. That includes the likes of Alabama, Clemson, Tennessee, Arizona State, Auburn, Georgia, Texas, Michigan, Minnesota, Texas, UCLA and USC.

So no, Washington's recruitment remains very much wide-open.

Washington recently shined brightest at the Rivals 3 Stripe Camp Series presented by adidas. The 6-foot-7, 260-pound five-star mismatch could be on the verge of making history in our Rivals rankings. That should only further the mystery of which program will land the Las Vegas standout.
